When I was young, I loved getting stuff in the mail.

I can still remember sending away for a secret, undisclosed Stars Wars action figure in the lead-up to The Empire Strikes Back. Aside from my wedding day and the arrival of my two children, the day the mail man showed up with Bossk was pretty much the best day of my life.

I still remember when this guy turned up in my mail box.

So it’s with that level of excitement that I’m so thrilled to be involved with something call the Box of Awesome. If you don’t know about it, it’s a physical box that gets mailed to about ten thousand young people in the UK, containing a mix of cool stuff like toys, trading cards, gadgets, and always one book.  That’s where I come in.

I’ve teamed up with Box of Awesome and my publishers, Orchard Books, to place copies of MetaWars 1.0: Fight For The Future  into this month’s box, affectionally known as BOA#6.  And it’s shipping this week!

And what’s even more awesome, is that you can win a signed book simply by answering this question on their blog: If you could live your life through ANY video game, which one would you choose, and why?
