FutureBook Conference (Dec 1, 2017)

I had the honour of speaking at the annual future-looking conference hosted by the Bookseller.

The full line up is here: https://www.thebookseller.com/futurebook-conference/programme-2017

I was invited to comment on what publishers can learn from the world of video, and am on what looks to be a panel of awesome people, including Gordon Wise from agency Curtis Brown and Preethi Mavahalli from Mammoth Screen (a TV production company).

You can read Porter Anderson’s round up here: https://publishingperspectives.com/2017/12/futurebook-2017-contributions-of-publishing-contrarians/

Afterwards, I wrote a little piece for the futurebook site, and you can find it here: https://www.thebookseller.com/futurebook/shift-should-inject-pure-fear-veins-publishers-what-book-people-can-learn-netflix-and-co

I’d love to hear your thoughts.
